What happened to compassion?

The socialist economy that had been characteristic of Israel went bankrupt. A capitalist economy replaced it and now its weaknesses and infirmities are becoming apparent. But in truth it is not the economy that is infirm, but rather the weaker members of our society – the sick, the elderly and the outcasts. All those abandoned by the “free” economy and prevented from receiving the minimum of economic compassion previously known before the “swinish” economy took over.
