Those that entangled us in the second Lebanese war and in show incursions into Gaza are the same people who are about to entangle us in additional wars and incursions. They have trigger fingers and their decisions to go to war are influenced more by their public image than by clear headed considerations regarding the aims, chances and legitimacy of war. Therefore, before our leaders bury us in additional mud, let us continue to demand a commission of national inquiry to investigate the failures of the last war.
