The universality of welfare subsidies

Children are not a commodity in which the investment is the private concern of the citizen. The entire country is a stakeholder, and its allocations cannot be a function of parental income. Regarding the elderly, the existing system should not be changed as this will harm those who have paid the full price for the pension they are entitled to by law.
