The media is constantly under attack for not being objective and neutral, and for taking a political stance thereby doing a disservice to its professional assignment. In the current elections it appears that the media has indeed changed its image and the way it conducts itself. The name of the game has changed, and today it is "Politicmedia": Only subjects and people appearing on the screen exist from a political perspective, and the written and broadcast media seal the fate of politicians and political programs.
Journalists of the old vanguard and some of the public do not like this new trend or the cynical and sarcastic style of journalists and anchor crew – but there is nothing to be done: we live in an age of mixed media – and it is worth changing the rules of journalistic ethics so that they correspond with the new situation.
