Avigdor (Yvette) Lieberman was disappointed with the native voting audience, which did not give him their votes in the elections and disparaged his plans. Towards the coming elections, he is returning to his natural audience (the Russian new immigrants), with a platform based on handling the Russian sector, presenting Israeli Arabs as the new enemy and far-reaching modifications in the systems of the Israeli Establishment.
This platform is detached from Israeli reality and is not viable, however it appeals to the racist emotions and arrogance accepted in the Russian sector. Lieberman is working hard and accumulating many supporters. Not all Russians think like he does, but he still has the capacity to win several seats, which may have a decisive impact on the next elections.
