A New Reading of History

Post-Zionist research is a renewed and critical reading of Zionist history. Post-Zionist researchers want to unermine the complete control that centrist researchers have on known data. They want to create a new perspective on important issues, like the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the way Israel relates to new immigrants from Arab countries. the post-Zionist researcher also takes into account non-Zionist and anti-Zionist views. He wants to disassemble the superior Zionist narrative (whose absolute explanations are contrary to the skeptical and anti-establishment approach of post-Zionist researchers).
The post-Zionist school of thugh suffered a failure, in spite of its revolutionary potential, because the researchers continued to hide in their academic "ivory tower," avoiding political activity (which distanced Palestinian activists and researchers from them). Instead they focused on Jewish and national issues. But with it all, their contribution is important as they broke ground for new ways of thinking.
